Formed in 2025 and debuting in 2026, The Get Down is the new side/solo project of musician Gavin Key. After years cutting his teeth in other bands, Key formed this group as an excuse to play all his favorite tunes he’d never gotten to perform live. From Clapton to Springsteen to Garcia to Bowie, Gavin Key and the Get Down bring an electrifying performance that blends R&B, funk, blues, rock, and jam.

Also known for his past work with instrumental psych-rock band Omoo Omoo, Dave is an exceptional multi-instrumentalist, as well as a teacher at Keene Middle School!

Kevin Sonntag
Founder of the Sonntag Jazz Collective, Kevin is an outstanding saxophone player, who brings the group’s improvisational jams to the next level. Kevin also teaches music at Brattleboro Middle School!
